Well suburban pilgrim followers, we're at our first stop, Yosemite, we've been here now for two weeks, I think. Now let me tell you about Yosemite. It's like you're entering another world. Before we left San Diego I had seen pictures and video's of Yosemite, and I thought "well it's cool, there's huge mountains and trees." But when we first drove into Yosemite, there are no words to describe how it is. Cold crisp air and the smell of fresh pine fills the air, not like any other place I've ever been to.
Anyways, we've just arrived in Coloma. We'll spend the holidays here with family, always a good time. Lately I've been thinking about our adventure , what if we hate it, what if it's one of the worst's mistakes we've ever made? Or, what if it's a life changing adventure. Life holds a great many adventures, if you follow your dreams and listen to your heart, you can make those adventures a reality.
When I grow up and have my own family I want to be able to tell my kids that I had an adventure of a life time, been to all fifty states. I want to treasure this forever, and have people ask me what each individual place felt like and what it smelled like. I always wonder what people think when they see a 29ft trailer being pulled by a Nissan Armada with three kids sitting in the back rows of the car. Do they think we're crazy? Or do they think we're cool/weird/hipstery people? The strangest thing about doing this is knowing that home is right behind you, and so are all your belongings, food, beds, its all right behind you. Witch makes it nice incase you left something back at home!
