In case you're not up to speed on who we are, what we're doing or why we're writing this post, check out this article, it explains everything. The nutshell version is that we're a family of 5, we sold everything, bought a travel travel, live in it full time and will soon hit the road to live and travel nomadically. It's a fine plan we think, but first, we wanted to make our new home (the travel trailer) feel like a home. Which meant a remodel.
We felt we needed to change the trailers interior from it's previous look, which reminded me of the set of the Golden Girls. It's not that it was horrid, but this trailer was to become our home, and we wanted it to feel like us, to feel like our home. My wife's dad offered to help us out. Being that I find it difficult at times to hold a hammer properly, we decided his help might be a good thing. So, our plan was in place. We would drive the trailer up to my wife's parents house, and for 3 weeks he, a few others he knew, and my wife would re-do the whole thing. I had to stay back in San Diego to work so that we could finance this little renovation, so my wife was alone with our three kids, her parents, and a lot of work to do.
No one wants to read every details about a renovation. Or do you? I would assume pictures and video are better, so that's what I've included here for your viewing please.
