Leaving suburbia for a nomadic existence.

Today is officially the day. Today we have officially left everything we owned, became minimalistic nomads traveling the country with our car, a travel trailer, 3 kids and not much else. I can honestly say it's the most freeing, exhilarating, terrifying thing I've ever done.

Driving through Arizona.

Driving through Arizona.

Today we left California behind. California has been home for my wife and I for the past 30ish years. Tonight I write this post from my bed, parked in a Home Depot parking lot in Phoenix Arizona. Tomorrow we make our way to Cottonwood Arizona. From there we'll launch out to explore the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, the petrified national Forrest, and who knows what else.

From there we continue east through New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, then Florida. From there, we're not quite sure yet. We love not being quite sure yet. The months and even years of string to place have been nothing if not a wild adventure, one we are sure to not forget anytime soon.

Be sure to follow us here and everywhere else.

More to come soon!
